Vintage Aircraft

Vintage Aircraft is something that is near and dear to anyone that works in aviation. While 1903 seems like a long time ago when the Wright Brothers flew for the first time, there have been so many achievements throughout aviation’s history. Part of that history is to continue the legacy and beauty of these aircraft. Shadin has helped to keep these aircraft safe over the years by replacing some of the fuel components ensuring the safe use of these aircraft for years to come. With supplemental type certificates (STC) on many of the aircraft from the 40s and 50s and so many others that are no longer produced, Shadin looks forward to working with you to support these restoration efforts. Shadin has built synchro converters to enable these older systems to communicate with newer display systems for the customer that want a little more modern feel for the aircraft. From P-51s to B-25s, we have something for you. Shadin attends shows like the EAA Air Venture as well as the Reno Air Races to support these efforts. Basler Turbo Conversions even uses some of Shadin’s part in their continual DC-3 upgrades to turn them into the highly sought-after BT-67. For the D-Day Anniversary, several of these DC-3 aircraft fly across the Atlantic in a yearly tradition to raise money and honor our veterans. Shadin has installed fuel flow systems on several of these aircraft (C-47 and DC-3 alike).
