Position Overview:

Shadin is seeking hands on, energetic and experienced Manufacturing Technician to work in a challenging FAA regulated industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to work independently as well as with a talented team, and help us continue on a path of positive growth.


  • Performs assembly, testing, inspection and packaging of avionics equipment using Acceptance Test Procedures and Final Inspection Sheets provided
  • Solder and de-solder through-hole and surface-mount electronic components, wires, and install cuts to printed circuit boards and assemblies
  • Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
  • Uses hand tools and/or power tools to assemble units according to product specifications
  • Identifies units that fail and repairs as necessary
  • Other Production duties as assigned


  • Two year associates degree in electronics or similar; one to three years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience troubleshooting to component level – Volt meter, Oscilloscope, reading schematics and familiarity with assembly drawings
  • Aviation industry experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a time sensitive environment where priorities can quickly change
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work on a team with other departments to collectively meet the organizations and customer's needs
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is desirable
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work autonomously
