Position Overview:

Shadin is seeking a hands-on, energetic and experienced Finance Manager. This position is dedicated to analysis, development and support activities for Financial and ERP systems. This role provides both functional and technical expertise regarding the applications and functions associated with our financial and ERP systems. This is a working leadership position with project management, continuous improvement and support responsibilities.


  • Review and ensure all critical financial documents are accurate and align with internal corporate accounting policies, government regulations and GAAP procedures (where appropriate)
  • Assess business needs in order to recommend and tailor a solution to meet business objectives
  • Establish best methods in ERP System and overall processes
  • Design, develop and deliver financial and operational reporting and analysis specific to the needs of the business and/or functional management
  • Develop and recommend revenue, margin, direct expense and working capital projections for the monthly forecast, annual budget, and strategic planning processes
  • Monitor and evaluate performance against forecasted results, and provide value-added analysis, commentary and recommendations. Participate in the financial presentation of the monthly business operating review with company ownership
  • Manage and administer the financial aspects of customer orders and related projects
    • Assess order and project risk, and provide appropriate financial reservations and contingencies
    • Provide costing and pricing analysis and recommendations
  • Develop methods and tools to support financial data collection, performance modeling, statistical analysis, and complex reporting.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance (MBA, CPA, CMA, a plus)
  • Experience and working knowledge of financial applications, manufacturing, inventory, forecasting, order management and distribution
  • Experience in management reporting, planning and financial analysis
  • Knowledge and understanding of capabilities and restrictions in ERP systems (Plex)
  • Demonstrated ability to work on a team with other departments to collectively meet the organization's and customer's needs
  • Must possess excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated time management and project management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work autonomously
